Example text

Three women are dressed like Baiana, a popular figure of Brazilian culture. Their dresses are made of plastic materials in bright green, red, blue and purple. Their skirts are made of brightly colored plastic buckets, which together with iron rings, forms a kind of crinoline. Around their bodies hang plastic necklaces; they also wear goggles and scarfs. This all results in a loud, eye-catching dress, that sounds like a brass band at a Brazilian carnaval; the bright colours and materials contrast sharply with the old, pastel tones of Prague°«s inner city.

At Wenceslas Square the women stop for a staged picture. Passersby seize the opportunity to take a selfie with the performers. The Baiana women gladly interrupt their performance to pose for photographs. The reality of being a tourist attraction wins over being an art project.
